I sure was glad that the bearing retainer ring was made from a high grade alloy. My 42 year old wheel needed [persuasion] to get the retainer in all the way and the retainer took the effort quite well. Many thanks for providing this hard-to-find part.

Installed this into a 1983 XL250R. Went in perfectly, not loose, not right, just perfect. I used a bit of anti seize and I also used a tool specific to the job and not a punch and a hammer.
Highly recommend this part.
